Brazil international Fabinho was one of Manchester United top transfer targets during last summer window but they failed in their bid to lure the defender to Old Trafford.
José Mourinho is surely in search of quality defenders so as to reinforce his midfield ahead of next season, he is linked with a move for the Brazilian when the summer transfer window begins.
Luckily for the Portuguese manager, Fabinho is willing to make a sensational move to Old Trafford by the end of the season as he has reportedly submitted a transfer request to the club hierarchy.
Fabinho’s request may not be granted by the Ligue 1 Champions as they won’t want to let go of their important players just as they did during last summer when they sold out Kylian Mbappe (PSG) , Tiemoue Bakayoko(Chelsea) , Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy(Manchester City).
According to the Sun, PSG are also tracking the midfielder’s situation and they are reportedly going to compete with the Red Devils for his signature in the summer.
They also report that he is set to cost both clubs nothing below £55m if they must bring him to their respective clubs before the start of next season.
Despite playing as holding midfielder, Fabinho is capable of playing comfortably as a right-back and he would definitely a great addition to José Mourinho’s team who lacked a strong player at the right-back position.
