Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas might be heading to the North London club as the report via Don Balon claims the Costa Rican international can’t wait to make a move to the Emirates stadium this summer.
The reports also revealed that the Gunners have made an official approach towards signing the netminder as they have tabled an offer to Real Madrid so as to convince the Los Blancos to sanction his move out of the team.
Despite his impressive performances for the team so far this season, Madrid still remain keen to bring David De Gea to the Spanish capital and that didn’t go well with Navas who think he is not valued by the club’s president Florentino Perez and his board of directors.
Though there are numerous clubs vying for the experience goalie’s services, he has chosen to move to the Emirates stadium ahead of next season according to the Spanish publication.
Should he move to Arsenal, he is likely to be regarded as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper ahead of Petr Cech and David Ospina.
Cech who is the Gunners first-choice netminder has shown to Wenger that there is a need for another goalkeeper due to his numerous costly errors throughout the campaign while David Ospina seems not rated by the Frenchman and he might be moving out of the club this summer.
It remains unknown if Zidane would want to partway with the star, considering the team are yet to sign any capable replacement for the goalkeeper should he leave the Spanish giants.
