Ousmane Dembele

It has been revealed that should Liverpool succeed in the capture of Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele, it would be bad news for their Premier League title rivals Chelsea.

The French forward has been linked to the Anfield ahead of the January transfer window and Liverpool are keen to break the bank in order to have his signature.

The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp who is a big fan of the player is ready to break the bank to launch a whopping sum of £85 million offer for the player with the hope that it could tempt the Spanish giants into giving him away.

However, cashing in on Dembele is believed to boost the financial power of the Camp Nou team to be able to make an offer for Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Reports according to El Gol Digital reveal that Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde is a fan of the Belgium international and has already made a request for him.

Meanwhile, Hazard is being wanted at Real Madrid with the Bernabeu side willing to meet his fee but the West London side have been reluctant in having the player leave.

Although, Hazard recently declared his wish to play at Real Madrid having stated that the Los Blancos remains a childhood dream club.

Daniel Sturridge

Liverpool fans seem to be losing patience with English international Daniel Sturridge as the majority of them wants him out of the Anfield with a replacement already mentioned.

The fans became furious with the player after the charge by the FA against him which accused him of allegedly breaching the betting rules which also relates to his loan move to West Brom in January this year.

In reaction to the allegation, a Liverpool spokesman told BBC Sports that the English forward is not guilty of the charge and has never gambled on football, adding that the player has been questioned and he has explained the whole situation.

However, coupled with the fact that Sturridge has been unable to win the heart of the German manager for a first-team shirt, the fans are unhappy with him and wants him out of the club.

Lazio’s Ciro Immobile has been named by the fans as the player they wish to see in the Reds shirt having scored a total of 8 goals and 5 assists in 16 games this season to add to the 41 goals he netted in 47 games last season.

Transfer market have valued the Italian international at about £45 million and the fans are convinced that the amount can be met by the Merseyside club.

Ousmane Dembele

A latest twist have emerged in Liverpool’s alleged pursuit of Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele as it is now being reported that the Reds are not interested in bringing him to the Anfield.

Before now, the Anfield side were reported to have beaten other clubs in their interest for the French forward and it was believed that they were already preparing a bid to be launched for him in the coming winter transfer window.

The Liverpool Echo newspaper had revealed that manager Jurgen Klopp is not planning any move for the Barcelona man in the January window; hence a bid will not be submitted.

The reports of Dembele leaving the Camp Nou is as a result of his inability to impress since having a big-money move from Borussia Dortmund, prompting Premier League giants like Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United to show interest in the player.

However, Dembele’s agent earlier claimed that his player was not thinking of a move away from the Camp Nou but will remain to fight for a starting role at the club.

The agent argued that the former Borrusia Dortmund has a lot of time to make the starting XI because of his young age which is a reason why he will not rush out of the club.

Fabinho

Italian giants AC Milan seems getting serious about their interest in Liverpool star Fabinho as they are reported to be readying a winter move for him come January.

The Express reports that the Italian side are bent on the Brazilian not minding that he only joined the Anfield in the last summer and has yet to play for the investment that was made on him.

The Rossoneri are making efforts to capitalize on the fact that Fabinho has not been able to win a permanent starting role in the Jurgen Klopp team to lure him away from the club.

The Reds boss is unhappy that the Brazilian has yet to make any meaningful impact since his arrival from Monaco and the same feelings is believed to be held by the player who wishes to play regularly in the team.

It is unclear if Liverpool will be willing to keep Fabinho due to his wage demands which make it possible for the Reds to accept any worthy deal for the player in January.

However, suggestions are that the Brazilian would love to remain with the Merseyside side but he might be convinced by the fact that he wants to be seen week-in and out to be able to secure a national team call-up.

alisson

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has explained that he has become a better goalkeeper since joining the Reds in the summer.

Alisson Becker joined Liverpool from AS Roma with a world-class fee of about £68 million and has since settled to become one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

According to the Brazilian, he has been able to settle well at the Merseyside club with the help of the goalkeeper John Achterberg who has impacted his experience and knowledge in him.

Achterberg joined Liverpool in 2009 after hanging his boot from professional and active football.

Alisson stated that he is now calm and relax on the pitch by the help of the goalkeeper trainer as he has learnt a lot on how to improve on the pitch.

He added that the relationship between himself and the goalkeeper coach has been in such a way that they learn from each other and they have both been developing in training.

Meanwhile, he praised second choice goalkeeper Simon Mignolet for helping him settle also in the team having been around for a while.

However, Alisson has been rated as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe having conceded few goals so far this season.

Federico Chiesa

Liverpool will have to battle Premier League rivals Chelsea and Man United for the signature of Italian winger Federico Chiesa according to reports.

The Anfield side have been tipped to be ahead of others in the move for the Florentina forward who will be allowed to leave the club in the nearby future but on a worthy price.

However, the West London side Chelsea are also reported to be making big moves to snatch the player off Liverpool’s hook while Serie A sides Napoli and Juventus are also linked to the player.

But a bid for the service of the winger by the Italian giants are reported to have been turned down which gives the Reds an advantage to go all out for Federico Chiesa’s signature.

Meanwhile, the English Premier League giants are making efforts to add quality to their squad with the manager Jurgen Klopp seeking to win his first title at the Anfield since joining from Borussia Dortmund about three years ago.

The German manager has admitted that finishing second in the Premier League and Champions League will mean no medal for his side, hence there is a need to win something to be able to confirm the club as a big one.

Kerem Demirbay

Liverpool are reported to be eyeing a move for Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim versatile midfielder Kerem Demirbay.

It is reported that the Premier League giants are already considering activating the release clause for the player in the coming winter transfer window.

The 25-year-old has been on the radar of the Merseyside club since the beginning of the year but has been unable to secure a deal for him. This time, they have decided to give him a trial.

Liverpool’s renewed interest has been confirmed by Turkish-Football which states that the German might be on his way to the Anfield with his release clause expected to be activated.

A price tag of £28 million has been set for Kerem Demirbay whose current contract with the club expires in 2021.

Kerem Demirbay is being monitored by manager Jurgen Klopp having previously worked together in his days at the German side Borussia Dortmund.

A deal is therefore expected to fall through this time around after it has been revealed that Kerem Demirbay shares same manager with Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Naby Keita.

The fact that the Turkish-born Germany international has got no enough playing time with just 5 appearances in all competition gives the Reds a better chance of having his signature this time around.

Breaking! Liverpool star could be on his way of Anfield

joel matip

There are indications Liverpool defender Joel Matip could be on his way to Fulham with manager Claudio Ranieri desperate to have him at the club as he has emerged as the new manager of the club.

Matip is obviously not an option in the Reds team as he has gone down the pecking order at Anfield especially with the coming of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez who have both built formidable forces at the defence.

Although, the German-born Cameroon international is still under contract with the Reds for another two years but he will not be willing to see out his contract as he is reported to be tired of sitting on the bench without seeing games.

Fernabache are reported in having the player with Liverpool’s former director of football Damien Comolli who is now with the Turkish side believed to be taking advantage of his influence at his former side to complete the deal.

Having sacked manager Slavisa Jokanovic and bring in Ranieri, the West London club have shown big ambition in adding depth to their squad with the Liverpool player as their top target.

Matip is believed to favour a move to Fulham because he has already adapted to life in England and will not fancy a move elsewhere.
