According to Don Balon, Manchester United are ready to do all it takes to beat Chelsea and Liverpool to Marco Asensio signature with £175million.

Marco Asensio who is regarded as one of the finest young talent across Europe has become a priority for Jose Mourinho and United board of directors.

And Don Balon made it known that Manchester United are prepared to pay a club record fee of £175million for Asensio’s signature, which has made Real Madrid to consider his future at Santiago Bernabeu.

The report by Don Balon also claim that Real Madrid do not want to sell the 22-year-old, they believe he is tempted to make a switch to Old Trafford.

After Manchester United frustrating season, Asensio could certainly fit Jose Mourinho’s plan for the next season as they are in dire need of a player with more spark and creativity in the attack.

Manchester United have been stunned by the blistering form of Manchester City for the whole of the season and they were knocked out of the Champions League by Sevilla in the round of 16.

Don Balon also linked current Champions Chelsea with a big money move for the player, while Diario Gol also claimed Liverpool had been in touch to sign the player.

Manchester United current transfer record is the £89m they paid for Paul Pogba last season.
