Freiburg centre-back Caglar Soyuncu is one of the hottest defenders in the Bundesliga so far this season and his impressive performance hasn’t gone unnoticed as there are numerous clubs bidding for his service ahead of next season.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and their neighbour Manchester City have all been linked with the player’s signature as they all hope to bolster their defense in the upcoming season.

Roma have emerged as the latest club to have shown their desire to work with the Germany international no-nonsense defender and they are ready to do everything to beat other clubs to his signature.

According to Calciomercato in Italy, the Italian giants alongside the Gunners have shown real desire to sign the 21-year-old while other clubs are yet to make any official approach towards signing the youngster.

Soyuncu 21, started his playing career in his country where he was playing with second-tier side Altinordu before switching to Freiburg in a £2.4 contract deal two seasons ago.

Since his move to the Bundesliga side, the young man has featured in over 50 matches, helping the team in their fight against relegation battle.

He has also been promoted to the Turkish national team senior squad where he’s been doing fine with the team.

It is yet to be seen if the German side will want to part ways with Soyuncu whose performance has been brilliant throughout the campaign.
