Premier League title holders Chelsea are reportedly ahead of their League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City in the race for PSV youngster Jayden Braaf who players as a striker for the team’s youth set-up.

According to the Sun, Antonio Conte is on the verge of completing a summer move for the Dutch prospect whose goalscoring ability remains a threat to defenders.

The 15-year-old is presently one of the best starlets in the world and the Sun suggests he is being tracked by Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, West Ham, and Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich this summer.

Though United were the first clubs who was impressed with the player’s performance while playing for Netherland youth teams, Stamford Bridge might just be the next destination for the player as the Blues have reportedly reached an ‘agreement in principle’ with Jayden’s representatives over a possible switch to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Known for their ability to develop young players into world-class stars, Chelsea could be the perfect club for Jayden to nurture his growing career.

While reacting to the speculation linking his client to Antonio Conte’s team, Jayden’s agent confirmed to The Sun that both parties have reached a verbal agreement but nothing has been officially written down yet.

The Blues will be hoping that there won’t be a last-minute change of mind from the player as they hope to bolster their youth teams ahead of next season.
