Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on adding FC Koln left-back Jonas Hector to his team ahead of next season but faces huge competition from Scuddeto Champions Juventus and Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich who are both interested in the 27-year-old according to reports in Italy via TeamTalk.

Hector is one of the regular players in Koln’s starting lineup since he was promoted to the club’s senior team in 2013.

As a result of his impressive performance for the club, Hector has featured in more than 180 League matches for the Bundesliga side.

He has also featured in 36 matches for Germany national team and he’s in contention for a place in the Low’s world cup squad which will be hosted by Russia this summer.

Jurgen Klopp hopes to bring the player to Anfield as a replacement for Alberto Moreno who is being tipped to move out of the Merseyside club in the summer transfer window.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Juventus are monitoring the Germany international situation and they could be moving for him after they are reportedly set to let go of Alexander Sandro by the end of the season. The Brazilian defender hasn’t been in his spectacular form since the start of the second period of the season and the Old Lady are now willing to cash in on his signature as Chelsea remain keen on his signature.

The Sports Journal also claims that Bayern Munich are also set to join the chase after the 27-year-old defender which means there could be a three-giant competition for the player’s services this summer.
