Manchester United are interested in offering an eye-catching offer to Juventus so as to convince the Scuddeto Champions sanction Douglas Costa’s move to Old Trafford this summer.
The Red Devils have been monitoring the Brazilian winger since last transfer window and they’re ready to make an official approach for his signature according to report from the Daily Mirror.
Costa, who is on loan from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, has been impressive for the Old Lady throughout this season and Juventus are tipped to sign him on a permanent basis by the end of the season in a deal which is set to cost €40m (£35m).
Coach Maximiliano Allegri is happy with what he has seen so far from the 27-year-old and he wishes to continue working with the lively Brazilian beyond this term but that could be very hard for the club to achieve as United are ready to offer a deal which could be too hard to ignore.
Mourinho is not contended with Alexis Sanchez’s performance this season, so also Paul Pogba’s uninspiring display, the Portuguese manager is, therefore, looking for a possible addition to bolster the team’s attacking threat ahead of next season.
The Daily Mirror also suggest that United are ready to bid £40million for the Brazilian service who is currently with the Sambar boys for their friendly match against Germany on Tuesday.
