Manchester United and Arsenal are set for another transfer tug-of-war as they are both vying for Albania international Elseid Hysaj in the summer.
The player who has been impressive for Serie A side Napoli this season could be on his way out of the Naples by the end of the season as reports suggest that his suitors are ready to pay as high as €50m for his signature.
The player still has a contract with the Serie A giants which runs till 2021 summer but he could be allowed to move to any club who wish to pay nothing less than £50m, the release clause in his contract with Maurizio Sarri’s team.
Should he manage to make a move for such speculated price, Napoli would be making a huge profit from his sale having acquired his service for just €5m from Empoli in 2015.
The 24-year-old has been a great addition to the team, helping them to a second position in the present league table.
According to reports in Italy via Tuttosports, a Premier League club are said to have agreed to sign the left-back this summer and the report suggests it could be either Arsenal or Manchester United as both clubs are hoping to reinforce their respective defence line ahead of next season.
Meanwhile, Manchester City are set to join Real Madrid and Manchester United in the race for Brazilian forward Neymar in the summer.
The Citizens seem to be in the market for Aguero’s replacement as the Argentine could leave Etihad stadium after the summer World Cup in Russia.
