“I am now settled to take up challenges at Arsenal ” – Aubameyang admits
Aubameyang, a £55 million winter transfer player from Borussia Dortmund is feeling more settled at the Emirate and he hopes, playing regularly will improve is confidence and allow him to repay Arsene Wenger after the club record fee.
The talented goal scorer admits to enduring a difficult playing time at Arsenal, but he’s confident he will soon hit top form and get back to the scoresheet as he reported.
The African star joined Arsenal during the winter transfer window in January on deadline day – He scored his debut goal for Arsenal against Everton and fans thought he would hit the ground running, but the star player went three games without a goal for the Gunners.
Aubameyang has however been very impressive for the Gunners in many matches, providing assists and he’s pleased to be relieving pressure from Arsene Wenger shoulders.
After netting in a 3 – 0 win over Premier League side, Watford, he said: “It’s a big victory for us”.
But it will be quite unfortunate for Aubameyang as he will be ineligible to play for Arsenal’s next fixture after representing his former employer at Borussia Dortmund as he cannot represent two clubs in the same UEFA event across any campaign.
