England international Defender Danny Rose has revealed the reason behind his recent lack of first-team action for the Tottenham this season.
The left-back has struggled to return back to Pochettino’s starting lineup after returning back from injury and he believes his injury problems are responsible for his current misfortune at the club.
The 27-year-old was out of action for almost a year (ten months) after picking up a knee injury in January last year.
He made a return to action in November last year but he wasn’t in best fitness level as he suffers a small relapse to the injury which sidelined him for several weeks.

Rose’s injury hasn’t done him any good as he now starts most matches from the bench due to the coach trust in Ben Davies who performed brilliantly in his absence.
Many Tottenham fans were hoping that Pochettino will give the player an opportunity to start against Juventus in yesterday’s game due to his experience at the club but that wasn’t the case as he was made to watch the whole encounter from the substitute bench.
Tottenham were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Juventus in one of Champions League midweek fixtures. The North London hope of reaching the quarter-final of the competition was dashed as they were made to pay for their missed chances by Maximiliano Allegri’s team.
Should he continue to remain on the bench until the end of the season, Danny Rose might force his way out of the Wembley stadium as Manchester United remain keen on his service.
