After Error Against Brighton, France and Arsenal centre-back Laurent Koscielny could be heading out of Emirates Stadium in the summer as his contract could be terminated by Arsenal Board.
The club are furious with the player after his costly error in yesterday’s 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion at the AMEX stadium and they are set to part ways with the Frenchman.
Koscielny alongside German veteran Per Mertesacker have conceded 41 goals in only 21 league matches this season and that hasn’t gone well with the club’s hierarchy who are hoping to improve their backline ahead of next season.
Despite having a two-and-a-half year left in his current contract with the Gunners, Koscielny might be moving out of Emirates Stadium in the summer as they hope to offer him in a cash-plus-player move for young centre-back Jose Gimenez who plays for Athletico Madrid.
Jose Gimenez 23, has found his way back to Diego Simone’s starting lineup with impressive showings at the back for the Spanish giants so far this season.

According to El Gol Digital, the Uruguayan defender is Arsenal’s prime target in the summer as they want to find a long-term solution to their woeful performances at the back of the pitch before the commencement of the 2018-19 season.
Athletico haven’t made any comments on the reports linking the youngster to the Emirates stadium in the summer but it’s too soon to start talking about player’s move as they concentrate on how to beat Barcelona to the league title.
