Arsene Wenger’s Bizarre Statements
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger seems to have ran out of excuse after his team were thrashed by Manchester City in last night’s Premier League match at Emirates stadium.
The Frenchman is currently not getting the result he wants from his players as he has lost three consecutive matches.
The Gunners surprisingly lost to Swedish minors Ostersunds FK in one of Europa League second-leg fixtures but the result had little or no impact as the Gunners progressed to the next round of the competition.
Last Sunday, Arsenal were up against in-form Manchester City who wasted no time in proving to their opponents the quality they possess. Guardiola’s men were a 3-0 winner over Wenger’s men in the Carabao Cup final to lift their first major trophy in the current campaign.
Luckily for Arsenal, they were given the chance to revenge their shameful lost in the hands of the Premier League runaway leaders as they tackle the Citizens at the front of their fans in the midweek.
Despite having great supports from the home fans, Arsenal were thrashed by Manchester City with the same goal-margin and the result were accompanied by boos from the Gunners faithfuls.
Despite losing to City, Wenger praised his boys for playing “physically their highest performance of the season.” His comments didn’t go well with the fans as they showed their displeasure and surprises via their social media accounts.
According to krys daddy on Twitter, he was so surprised that he sarcastically asked: “did he say that?”
Another fan reacted via his Twitter account by laughing out as he tweeted “a hahaha”
As for Raj, Wenger has lost his Marbles.
It is yet to be seen if Wenger would retain his position as Arsenal boss ahead of next season as he is 30 points behind League leaders Manchester City and 10 points behind Tottenham who are in the fourth position in the Premier League table.
