Man Utd closely monitoring the midfielder
The Daily Mail is claiming that the 26-year-old Italian is a potential transfer target for United as manager Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his midfield ahead of next term.
The same article states that the player is Liverpool’s preferred transfer target to replace Germany international Emre Can, whose deal at Anfield Stadium runs out at the end of the current season.
However, it is also suggested that the Reds know that they might face stiff competition for the player’s signature in the summer window.
