Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants midfield maestro, Dani Ceballos revealing his desire to bring the Real Madrid midfielder to the Merseyside club in the summer.

According to reports emanating from the Anfield stadium via Daria Gol, the German manager has told club owners that he would love to work with the former Spain Under-21 international.

Ceballos 21, has been a fringe player in Zinedine Zidane’s team as he has failed to command a starting place in the Frenchman first-team squad since his switch to Santiago Bernabeu in 2014.

Klopp believes the addition of the Spanish midfielder will bring more depth and quality to his midfield’s prowess and he is ready to lure the youngster to Anfield despite interests from other European clubs.

Diario Gol also reports that Real Madrid might fail to sell him outrightly to the Reds considering the talent his made of but the Santiago Bernabeu outfits might send him on a season long-loan deal so as to allow him to get the required experience in the Premier League which will turn him into a better player in the future.

The former Real Betis player has featured in just 19 matches in all competitions so far this season for the Los Blancos as he has seen himself fallen behind Kroos, Modric, Casemiro in midfielders’ pecking order.
