Real Madrid midfielder Isco has been tipped as the perfect replacement for Manchester United Legend Michael Carrick who is set to end his career by the end of the season.
Michael Carrick has been battling numerous injury problems since the start of the season coupled with his heart problems and that has made him decided to put an end to his largely successful career in the summer.
Manchester United boss José Mourinho earlier admitted that there is a need to find a replacement for the player and according to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, the Portuguese manager is set to purchase £176m-rated midfielder Isco from Real Madrid.
Isco is one of the best performers in Zinedine Zidane’s team despite the team’s poor performance in the league this season and Mourinho is looking at the prospect of making him switch to Old Trafford in the summer so as to improve his midfield’s quality ahead of the 2018-19 season.
Don Balon also suggested that Isco could be paid £338k as his weekly wages should he accept to depart the Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the summer.
With Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera reportedly set to leave, Isco could be easily integrated into the Reds starting lineup by the Portuguese manager so as to play alongside Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in a three-man midfield formation.
United might break their record as they hope to complete a £176m move for the Spaniard.
