I’ve been overly critical of Lingard in the past, but no one can deny his impressive and important contributions this season. Done fantastically well. Great player to have in the squad.

WHAT A WIN THAT WAS! Lukaku’s best big game performance of his United career. Lingard coming clutch in a big game again… Wow.

The win gave Man United a two-point lead over their close rival Liverpool, but a defeat to United would have put Man United under threat of losing the top-four positions, and a win to Chelsea would have seen them climb above Tottenham.
Although the Jesse Lingard has not been very impressive and has found himself on the substitute bench. He has, however, shown his desire to impress on the pitch.
