Liverpool U18s midfielder Edvard Tagseth is reportedly set to miss rest of the season after picking up a leg injury.
The 17-year-old has been phenomenal in the Red’s aim for the U18’s title but Steven Gerrard’s men will now be without their influential Norwegian for the rest of the campaign.
According to the Norwegian Liverpool Official Supporters Club, the Youngster has confirmed that he wouldn’t feature for the Reds until the summer due to the stress injury to his knee and hamstring.
Liverpool currently occupy the second position in the U18 Premier League standings , trailing just four points behind League leaders Manchester United, though they have an outstanding match.
The Liverpool youth side coached by Stephen Gerard will surely miss the services of Tags ethical as he is one of the team’s standout performers before his unfortunate injury.
According to Gerrard, the player could play with the minor injury as it but he wouldn’t want to risk it so as to avoid complicating the player’s recovery rate. This means that the youngster will no longer feature in Gerrard’s side for the rest of the season.
