Arsenal strongest squad vs Manchester City in Carabao Cup final clash

Arsenal are in Wembley with the believe that they can pull a surprise by winning the Carabao Cup at the expense of high-flying Manchester City.

Both teams are going into tomorrow’s game with a mission to win their first major trophy in the season and both manager have revealed the list of players they believe could get the job done at the Wembley stadium tomorrow.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has given an update on Aaron Ramsey’s injury which has ruled him out of action for three consecutive matches. According to Wenger, the Welshman has returned to full fitness and he is in contention for a starting place in the Gunners midfield at Wembley.

The Frenchman also revealed that Mesut Ozil is also expected to be back into action having missed Arsenal’s 1-2 defeat to Ostersunds FK due to illness. The Germany playmaker sure has a huge role to play if the Gunners must emerge victorious against their opponent on Sunday.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, pending any injury, is set to lead the team’s attack. The Gabon international striker is set to return to action after being ineligible in the Europa League clash last Thursday.

Meanwhile, Alexandre Lacazette and Santi Cazorla are out due to a knee and Achilles injury respectively.

Former Manchester United player Henrikh Mkhitaryan is cup-tied which means he won’t fixture in the match.
