Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has some huge work to do in the summer transfer window if he wants to build his team into a title-winning side in the upcoming season.
The Merseyside club have been unable to win a major trophy for the 10 years and the German manager who joined Liverpool in 2013-14 season is hoping he wins a trophy with the Reds before moving to another club in the future but he needs to improve the team’s depth in some positions especially the middle of the pitch which hasn’t been too convincing so far this season.
Apart from not being too impressive, Emery Can might move to Juventus in the coming season as the Scudetto Champions remain keen on the player’s signature whom they failed to get before the end of January’s transaction period.
In his bid to replace the Germany international midfielder, Jurgen Klopp has been linked with Real Madrid youngster Kovacic who joined the Los Blancos from Inter Milan in 2015 for a fee believed to be £26.5m
The 38-capped Croatian player could be the perfect replacement for Can as he has proven to a good passer and holder of the ball. He has featured in 93 matches for the Spanish giants under Zidane’s watch despite intense competition for a place in the team.
According to Diario Gol, Liverpool are also considering a move for Kovacic teammate Ceballos who have been sparingly used by Zinedine Zidane since he joined the Galacticos.
