Arsenal take on Premier League leaders Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, and manager Arsene Wenger has revealed two positive injury news.

Disappointing night

The North London club fell to a disappointing 2-1 loss to Swedish side Ostersunds in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday, but they could still advance to the last 16.

However, the team will now have to perform better against Pep Guardiola’s men this Sunday, and Arsene Wenger will be hoping that he sends out close to a fully-fit squad to grab the first silverware this season.

Expectation high on duo

According to several media sources, the Gunners are expecting to have both Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey available as they recover from fitness issues to feature.

While the German’s scored five goals and provided seven assists in 24 matches across all competitions so far this campaign, Aaron Ramsey scored a hat-trick not so long as he was set to enjoy from the increased creativity in the team with Armenian Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Gabonese Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang arriving at the side in January.

In turn, Arsene Wenger will hope that the duo are available for their next match, but that won’t do much to correct the faults in defence as they continue to concede which could cost them heavily against Manchester City.
