Arsenal tackle Swedish side Oestersunds FK in the return leg of the Europa League round of 32 tomorrow.
In the first leg of the encounter, Arsene Wenger’s men were able to defeat Ostersunds FK 3-0 and they will be hoping to wrap up the encounter in style at home tomorrow.
Having seen his players defeated the Swedish side comfortably in the first leg, Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger is set to make a wholesome change to his starting lineup as he confirmed that Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil- who were both lively during the reverse fixture- won’t take part in tomorrow’s game.
The manager’s move to rest Mesut Ozil could be traced to the upcoming important fixture against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Saturday. The Gunners are currently preparing to face one of the best clubs in the Premier League and they will require their best players for the game if they must stand a chance to win their first trophy for the season.
As for Ramsey, the gaffer confirmed that the Welshman has a slight injury which ruled him out of tomorrow’s game but he might return to full fitness before the game against city on Saturday.
Welbeck, David Ospina and Mktarryan are all set to start against Ostersunds on Thursday.
