New Arsenal arrival Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to buy a new mansion at Arsenal as he hopes to settle down quickly at the North London club.
Arsenal fans have had a season to forget in terms of the club’s performance in the league as they are not sure of qualifying for next season’s Champions League competition. The North London club were surprisingly bundled out of the FA Cup by league two side Nottingham Forest as they were defeated 4-2 by the minnows.
In terms of buying and selling of players during the winter transfer market, Arsene Wenger impressed the Gunners faithfuls when he broke the club record by spending £55m on former Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Frenchman also put aside his rivalry and unhealthy relationship with Manchester United manager José Mourinho when he signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a swap deal which saw Alexis Sanchez move to the 20-time Premier League Champions.
Arsenal’s acquisition of the two former Dortmund players has raised Arsenal’s hope of finishing among the top four Premier clubs by the end of the season.
In his bid to quickly adapt to Arsenal’s weather and style of play, the Gabonese striker has reportedly purchased a six-bedroom mansion which cost £16m. The player who earns £180,000 per week hopes to help the club to a greater level in subsequent seasons.
