Having failed to establish himself with the Blaugranas, Andre Gomes could be moving out of Camp Nou in the summer and Liverpool are tipped to be his next destination.

The former Valencia player was linked with a move to Real Madrid in 2016 but the Galacticos were beaten to the player’s signature by their rivals Barcelona who reportedly paid the total sum of £35million for the forward.

According to Spanish media outlet AS, Barcelona are ready to cash-in on the player but there are no suitors willing to sign him for such high price.

AS further revealed that Gomes’ playing style doesn’t suit Barcelona’s fast attacking pace as his teammates always ignore him while attacking due to his poor decision making.

The Portuguese midfielder has been criticized for always doing the easy things on the pitch such as passing back to defenders when he has the chance to create more space for his teammates by engaging in dribblings.

Liverpool are yet to find a replacement for Phillippe Coutinho whom they sold to Barcelona in the winter and Jurgen Klopp is considering buying the player but not for a huge price which Barcelona bought him while playing for Valencia.

Manchester United were interested in bringing him to Old Trafford but their interest in the player got cooled when they acquired Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal before the end of last month.
