Arsene Wenger’s men are preparing for their Europa League round of 32 clash against the Swedish side on Thursday. The Gunners were put on their pace so as to ensure they are in good shape before and during the match.
Most of Arsenal first-team players were present during the session- Henrikh Mktarryan, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Laurent Koscielny and Danny Welbeck were all seen on the Gunners training ground.
Arsenal’s academy products such as Reiss Nelson, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Joe Willock also partook in the training session.
Former club-record signing Alexander Lacazzette wasn’t present during preparation for the match due to his injury spell but he could be replaced by in-form youngster Eddie Nketiah in Wenger’s starting lineup.
Arsenal must ensure they defeat their opponents in the first leg of the tie so as to stand a chance of winning the Europa League trophy by the end of the season.
Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey didn’t take part in the training as he his sidelined due to a groin injury which will keep him out of action for two weeks.
Others who were present during the training session include Per Mertesacker, Calum Chambers, Jack Wilshere, Rob Holding, Mustafi, and Konstantinos Mavropanos who joined the Gunners during last month’s transfer market.
Aubameyang won’t feature in Thursday’s match as his former club Borussia Dortmund are also competing for the trophy.
