Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini is set to leave the Old Trafford stadium having agreed personal terms with Turkish giants Besiktas.
The 30-year-old has seen his place taken by youngster Mctominay this season and he could move out of the club as a free agent by the end of the season.
The player’s season has been plighted by loss of form and constant injury problems which had ruled him out of action for most of the season. His contract with the Red Devils remains just four months to expire.
Manchester United boss José Mourinho wants to extend the player’s contract by one year but Fellaini rejected the offer as he seems to have made up his mind to end his stay with the 20-time Premier League Champions after six years of playing for the club since his move from Everton in 2012.
Though he wish to stay according to the Portuguese manager but his lack of first-team action might force him to joining Besiktas who have been targeting the player since last summer.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United player Daniel Higginbotham has suggested that Marcus Rashford won’t leave José Mourinho’s team in the summer. According to the former defender who is now a pundit while speaking to Sky Sports, the Englishman has a lot to offer the club and he won’t leave the theater of dream for any club.
Rashford has been limited to a benching role this season and it is believed that the addition of Alexis Sanchez will further decrease his chances of featuring regularly for the team who occupy the second position in the Premier table.
