Having failed to signed Alex Sandro, Conte turned his attention to Roma defender Palmieri whom he signed for cheap at the end of the transfer period.
Many Chelsea followers have questioned the Blues transfer policy as they didn’t push harder to ensure they signed the left-back from Juventus.
The Old lady who scored two goals in just eight minutes of the encounter allowed Tottenham to get back into the game when the conceded a goal in the first half after giving Harry Kane much space and time to pull the trigger.
Tottenham finally equalized via Erikson’s goal in the second half of the game. With yesterday’s result, Alex Sandro and his teammates must ensure they win the reverse fixture at the Wembley Stadium in two weeks time
