Madrid players are reportedly unsettled as everyone seems unhappy with the rumour linking Spain international youngster Marco Asensio to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The youngster who was linked with a move to Old Trafford during last month could be heading to the West London club after the Red Devils pulled out of the race for Asensio signature.
The 20-time Premier League Champions claimed that Madrid’s price tag on the player is too high for a player of his age.
The Los Blancos requested for a whopping sum of £133million from Manchester United in the winter if they must sign the player but nothing materializes between both clubs before the close of the transaction period.
Chelsea are reportedly set to complete the striker’s move to Stamford Bridge in a player-plus-cash deal which will see Eden Hazard move to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Asensio hasn’t been playing more regularly this term unlike last season when he was Madrid’s revelation of the season.
According to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, the deal hasn’t been confirmed by both clubs but that might happen in the summer as the two clubs are currently focus on qualifying for next season’s Champions League competition.
Real Madrid occupy the fourth position in the La Liga standings behind Valencia while Chelsea occupy the fourth position in the Premier League table behind Liverpool.
