Eden Hazard to quit Chelsea should they fail to qualify for next season’s Champions League
Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard might join longtime admirer Real Madrid in the summer if the West London club failed to get next season’s Champions League qualifying ticket by the end of the season.
According to former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher while speaking on Sky Sport’s Monday Night Football, the Belgian midfielder can’t afford missing out on one the most watched competition next season which means he might join another club who will guarantee his participation in the competition next season.
Jamie admitted that Hazard is one of the best players in the world and he believes he could help turn around Chelsea’s recent dismal form so as to end among Premier League top-four clubs.
Hazard was instrumental in yesterday’s 3-0 win against West Brom. The playmaker was all over the pitch with his scintillating display for the Blues.
His man-of-the-match performance was rewarded with a brace to put the score at 2-0 while Victor Moses rounded up the scoreline to ease the pressure on their manager Antonio Conte who could have lost his job should his player failed to defeat the Baggies last night. The result see them return back to the fourth position, a point above Tottenham.
