Chelsea are seriously considering Marco Silver as a replacement for Antonio Conte should the board decide to sack him before the end of the season.
Antonio Conte is struggling to win titles this season and there has been pressure on him after defeats to Bournemouth and Watford.
An exclusive news reported by express revealed that Marco Silver has now emerged as a serious contender to replace Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager.
The former Juventus manager faces the sack if the Blues are beaten by West Brom at Stamford Bridge today.
There are also confirmed reports that Roman Abramovic could look to Silver as a short-term replacement if they lose to West Brom tonight.
Silver was recently sacked by Watford in January after winning just once in eleven Premier League games.
But West Brom did not blame the manager, they blamed Everton for approaching him in November last year, claiming it had a negative effect on him and the squad – He’s now been identified as Antonio Conte short-term replacement in other to buy Chelsea more time to get a long-term placement.
Marco Silver was appointed Watford boss last summer after Hull relegated from the Premier League.
