Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are considering signing Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi on a permanent deal in the summer.
According to Dortmund’s CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, it was a good thing that the Belgian striker joined the Westfalenstadion outfit in the winter after a lot of failed bids for the Chelsea outcast.
Hans-Joachim Watzke also revealed his plan to sign the 24-year-old player on a permanent deal but that might be a difficult task as the Blues might refuse to let the Belgian leave Stamford Bridge because he is still highly rated by the club owner Roman Abramovic.
Batshuayi seems to have rediscovered his form as he has been phenomenal in Borussia Dortmund’s attack, he has scored three goals and one assist in just two weeks at the Westfalenstadion stadium.
The Blues will welcome back their player when the season comes to an end in the summer and he might feature more regularly for the Blues next season considering his exploits with the BVB this season.
Michy Batshuayi’s spell at Stamford Bridge this season was marred by Conte’s lack of trust in the player which has made the Italian manager used him regularly from the substitute bench.
Conte whose future with the Premier League Champions remain uncertain will hope that his team defeat West Brom later today so as to return back to the third position in the Premier League standings.
