Germany International midfielder Emery Can could be offered new contract despite being heavily linked with a move to Turin in the summer.
According to report via Daily Mirror, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has hinted that the Merseyside club are currently preparing a new contract for Emery which will tie him to the club for two more seasons.
During his pre-match conference ahead of his team’s visit to Southampton on Sunday, Klopp took his time to debunk speculations that the German midfielder has already agreed to personal term with the Scudetto Champions.
According to Klopp, there are no offer for Can’s services in his office and the player is not thinking of ending his stay at the Anfield stadium.
Emery Can has been ever-present for Liverpool after returning from his injury setback earlier in the season and he is in contention for a place in Klopp’s starting lineup on Sunday.
But new report claims that Emry Can has agreed to join Serie A giants Juventus, and this is confirmed by an agent in Italy.
The Liverpool star who has spent four seasons with the Merseyside will be out of contract at the end of the season and have negotiated a move to Italy.
This report was updated and we can confirm Emry Can has refused to agree to terms with Liverpool but they are hopeful the star player will have a change of heart and stay put – but we are in doubt as agent Federico Pastorello claims the deal is already done.
