Arsenal and Chelsea may have been handed a significant boost in the pursuit of AS Monaco forward Thomas Lemar as Merseyside outfit Liverpool seemingly end their pursuit.

As per the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool are set to move on to other transfer targets due to the Frenchman being priced too valued by his team at about £90million.
The forward’s form has taken a little of a hit this campaign despite being so vital in AS Monaco’s French Ligue 1 success last season, attracting a number of interest from top teams all across Europe in the process.
Jurgen Klopp’s team could do with a good replacement for Brazilian Philippe Coutinho in that position, but perhaps the Arsenal target no longer looks the right signing to occupy that void after the playmaker’s winter move to FC Barcelona.
As reported by Daily Mirror the France international have been linked with Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal in recent seasons, though Yahoo Sport recently suggested the Reds were his favoured destination after he agreed to personal terms with them.
With his preferred club no longer interested in his signature, there is certainly renewed hope for Arsenal, as well as, Premier League champions Chelsea and Manchester United after they were recently linked with the player.
