Former France international striker Olivier Dacourt has told newsmen that his compatriot Thomas Lemar will move out of the Stade II Louis stadium in the summer.
Lemar 22 has been Arsenal and Liverpool transfer target since 2017 winter but none of them could convince the Ligue 1 giants to let the player go.
In the just concluded transaction period, both Premier League clubs made a huge-money offer for the French youngster but their bids were turned down by Monaco board as the club’s vice president Vadim Vasilyev claimed that Thomas Lemar is one of the most important players who won’t be allowed to join other clubs before the end of the season.
He further told reporters in the winter that Lemar’s move to either Arsenal or Liverpool won’t push through irrespective of the price they wants to release for his signature.
According to Olivier Dacourt while speaking to a sport Journal Bwin on Tuesday, Lemar might be heading to Premier League in the summer. It’s yet to be seen who will emerge as the player’s next destination
“He is in Monaco but he will go to a very big club.” Dacourt said.
The former French player believes Lemar’s style of play perfectly suits any Premier League. Dacourt also praised the player for his shooting accuracy
“[He’s] Great! For his shooting especially,” he said.
Thomas Lemar seems to have lost his fine form which endeared him to numerous European clubs but his quality still renains as one of the World’s best youngsterster
