Manchester United might have gotten one of the best strikers in the League in the person of Alexis Sanchez, there are some players who should join the 20-time Premier League Champions if they are to win next season’s League Trophy.

It was obvious from last week’s match against Tottenham that United need some players most especially a left-back and a defensive midfielder.

Here are some top players who are definitely going to add more quality, depth and competition to Mourinho’s team

Paulo Dybala

Having linked with a move to Old Trafford in January, the young Argentina midfielder might join the Red Devils in the Summer. The player is rated as one of the best youngsters in the world and he will surely form a good partnership with Paul Pogba— who was his former teammate— in the middle of the pitch. The Juventus sensation could cost United a whopping fee of £140million.

Danny Rose

The Tottenham’s fringe player was targeted by Mourinho in the winter but couldn’t complete his signature. The Portuguese manager could reignite his interest in the player when the transfer window reopens. Rose could easily walk into Mourinho’s starting lineup at the left-back position due to Valencia’s ageing strength. He could cost United £45million in the summer.

Arturo Vidal

Linked with Chelsea, the Bayern Munich man could be out of the Bundesliga Champions in the summer due to the arrival of youngster Leon Goretzka from Shalke. He was Arsenal’s target before he made his switch to the Allianz Arena.

United could use Alexis Sanchez- his National teammate- in convincing him to join them in the summer.

Antoine Griezmann

Though United have plenty player to call upon at the attacking position, the addition of the Frenchman will surely improve United’s attacking prowess. He is said to cost the Red Devils huge sum of £100million but the Red part of Manchester will compete with Madrid and Barcelona who are both interested in the Frenchman.

Arsenal Will Spend Money On Transfers This Summer, Journalist Reveals

Arsenal Fans

Experienced journalist Guillem Balague has revealed that Arsenal will spend money on transfers during this summer’s transfer window.

Arsenal have been in the spotlight for the better part of the January transfer window after club manager Unai Emery told reporters at a press conference that the Gunners don’t have money to spend on signings this month and that they can only sign players on loan.

The revelation from the Spanish tactician has led to an uproar amongst the Arsenal faithful who are at a loss as to why senior club officials can’t spend money on a playing squad crying out for reinforcements.

Guillem Balague via his transfer show monitored by Football London explained that Arsenal spent a lot of money in the last two transfer windows and that has handicapped the club in a big way in the current transfer window.

The Spanish La Liga expert went on to say that Arsenal will spend money on players in the summer.

Arsenal spent £70m on the quintet of Sokratis Papasthathopoulos, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Bernd Leno last summer and the spendings were preceded by a club-record transfer for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang last January as well as the big wages handed out to both Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the first few months of 2018.

Bad news for Sarri as Paris Saint-Germain join Leandro’s race

Published

on

Paris St-German have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Zenit Saint Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes, that’s according Sky Sports.

The Blues were said to be interested in the star player this month as Sarri looks for Cesc Fabregas’ replacement but this report will surely be a disappointing one for him.

The Ligue 1 Champions are believed to have tabled a £31m offer for the Argentine player who joined the Russian side from Empoli in 2017.

Considering the free-spending nature of the Parc Des Princes outfits, Sarri stands a very slim chance of beating the French side to the player’s signature this month.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have their eyes on this year’s Champions League trophy and they are doing everything possible to achieve their ultimate goal, even if it cost them a whole lot of money.

They set a new record when former manager Unai Emery signed Neymar from Barcelona for £200m last winter but the Brazilian couldn’t help them progress to the semi-finals of the competition during the previous season.

Tuchel’s strikers are in fine form and they can score goals against any team in Europe, nonetheless, the manager believes there’s a need to upgrade his midfield setup before the competition resume next month.

As much as it appears the Blues will miss out on Leandro’s signature, it’s not over yet because Abramovich might add to his already-made £30m offer so as to defeat PSG in the race for the 24-year-old defensive /attacking midfielder.

It has been revealed that English Premier League side Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata will no longer leave the club for Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla.

Alvaro Morata has been linked away from the Stamford Bridge as he has fallen out with manager Maurizio Sarri for his poor form which was no longer acceptable.

A number of suitors came knocking for the former Real Madrid player but Sevilla were believed to be leading in the race with Alvaro Morata’s agent flying in from Spain to hold discussions with tee Blues on the matter.

However, latest reports according to Sevilla chief Joaquin Caparros reveal that a move for Alvaro Morata collapsed as talks were not successful between both clubs.

It has been reported that English Premier League outfit Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Zenit St. Petersburg star midfielder Leandro Paredes and could have the deal completed in coming days.

Mesut Ozil

North London giants Arsenal have reportedly offered star midfielder Mesut Ozil to Italian Serie A side Inter Milan.

This was revealed by a publication from the Daily Star.

The Gunners are trying to offload 2014 World Cup winner Mesut Ozil to free up some funds for transfers.

The German is by far the highest paid player at the Emirates Stadium with weekly wages of £350,000.

He still has two-and-a-half years left on the three-year contract that he signed last February when former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was in charge.

Wenger has since been replaced by Spanish tactician Unai Emery who has dropped Mesut Ozil from the Arsenal squad on several occasions after the former Real Madrid playmaker failed to adapt to his tactics.

There are numerous interests from Italy, Turkey, and China in Mesut Ozil but the Gunners will find it hard to move him on due to his big wages.

Unai Emery still thinks he can be a part of his team on the long run following his latest interview.

The former Valencia and Almeria manager was speaking during his pre-match press conference on Thursday ahead of the crucial London Derby clash with Chelsea as the race for the top four hots up in the Premier League.

Italian media outlet Tuttomercatoweb claim that the Gunners will have to face the threat of Serie A champions Juventus in the quest to sign the young Portuguese attacker.

Francisco Trincao plays for the Sporting Braga B team and he has made seven appearances for them this season.

It was revealed that Arsenal scouts have watched him on several occasions this season but any transfer might have to wait till the summer with the Gunners handicapped with funds at the moment.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has revealed that the club can only sign players on loan in the current transfer window.

Any permanent transfer might have to wait until this summer as a result of the Gunners’ lack of financial strength this January.

Arsenal are targeting a loan transfer for Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez who’s on the payroll of La Liga giants Barcelona.

The Catalans want a permanent transfer to sanction his exit from the club but the Gunners are holding out for a loan deal with the option to make the loan transfer a permanent deal during the summer’s transfer window.
