New Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set for his Arsenal’s debut against the Toffees on Saturday. The player who joined the Gunners from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund has been tipped by fans to start the important match against the Merseyside side.
After posting his first training session at the Emirates stadium on social media via his verified Instagram account, Gunners faithful are confident that the Gabonese striker is in the best condition for his debut.
It is yet to be seen how Wenger will play the 28-year-old striker but it is certain he will be featured for the Gunners against Everton except there is a last-minute change due to injury or illness. The Gunners will be hoping to return to winning ways after their shock defeat to the League’s bottom team Swansea.
After seeing Mesut Ozil’s contract saga sorted out, Wenger will hope to see the playmaker in his usual blistering form, linking up with new boys including Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang.
Arsenal must win the contest against Everton if they must stand a chance of playing in next season’s Champions League competition by finishing among the top four teams at the end of the season.
The Gunners are currently in the sixth position eight points below Liverpool who are in the fourth position.
