‘Mourinho impressed’ – Manchester United to make a Summer Move for CB

Manchester United boss José Mourinho has received a great report from his scouts over Monaco’s youngster Benoit Badiashile and he could make a move for the 16-year-old centre-back so as to improve the quality of their youth team.

United who have one of the best academies in the Premier League are reportedly set to bring more qualities to their youth set-up and report suggests that Benoit Badiashile could be the next player to join the 20-time Premier League Champions.

Getting the young left-footed defender might be a very difficult task to the Red Devils as they will have to compete with numerous clubs for his signature as Juventus, RB Leipzig and FC Barcelona are all monitoring the player’s situation at the Stade Louis II stadium.

According to French media outlet L’Equipe, United contacted the player’s agent in the just concluded winter transfer market over the possibility of signing the youngster but their discussion didn’t yield a positive result as Benoit Badiashile wants to remain with the Ligue 1 Champions where he has constantly featured in UEFA Champions League Youth competition.

L’Equipe further revealed that the Red Devils will make their bid for the player who is highly rated by Monaco’s board of directors in the summer.
