Belgian striker who is on loan from Chelsea had a debut to remember for a very long time. The player was lively for the Bundesliga giants against Fc Koln as it took him just 34 minutes to find the back of the net after a great through ball from Jeremy Tolman.
The 24-year-old striker moved to the Westfalenstadion stadium as Aubameyang’s replacement after the Gabonese striker moved to the Emirates stadium for a club record fee of £56million. Michy Batshuayi who failed to convince Antonio Conte that he deserves more first-team appearances during his stay at Stamford Bridge was given a place in the starting lineup by Peter Stöger and he justified the manager’s faith in him.
After his 34th and 47th minute brace, Fc Koln equalized via Zoller and Jorge’s goal but as the match seems to be settling for a 2-2 draw, Batshuayi proved his quality as a player who could score goals and also create opportunities for his teammates when he assisted Andre Schurrle— a former Chelsea player.
His wonderful display against Fc Koln hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Blues’ faithfuls as they took to Social media to praise the 24-year-old Belgian striker. The Bundesliga giants could be tempted to sign him on a permanent deal should he continue to impress till the end of the season.
Chelsea will be in action against Watford on Monday and Olivier Giroud who joined Chelsea as Michy’s replacement could have his debut for the Blues.

The day Antonio Conte destroyed Batshuayi's confidence was our match against City.
Batshuayi was on the bench, Morata got injured and the only thing Conte could do was to Introduce Willian and play without a striker, against Manchester City!
Man was done since then.
