Reports from Spain say Manchester United are interested in signing Brazilian superstar Neymar from Paris Saint Germain.
According to the reports, Man united are set for an audacious summer swoop that would definitely see them smashed the current world’s most expensive transfer fee which was set when Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for €222 million.
The 25-year old superstar forward has been in sensational form since moving to Paris which has seen him record 26 goals and 14 assists in just 25 games.
His future at the club despite just joining about 7 months ago has been brought up a number of times this season with Real Madrid believed to be his most likely destination but new reports suggest that Man united are willing to pay as much as £280 million to sign the Olympic gold medallist.
The Old Trafford club at the moment are one of a few sides that are capable of financing such a deal and they have received backing from one of their major sponsors, Chevrolet, who are said to believe Neymar could prove to be a very good asset for their European and South American markets.
Man united boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly very interested in the Brazilian and is keen on the deal as he looks to put more pressure on Pep Guardiola and his Man City side ahead of next season.
