Former Paris Saint-German attacking midfielder Lucas Moura who joined Tottenham during the week could wait for another week before making his debut for the North London club.
The 25-year-old Brazilian midfielder might be on the substitute bench for tomorrow’s encounter with Liverpool.
According to report emanating from the Wembley stadium, Tottenham’s game against Liverpool might have come too soon for the new player who will require some time to settle down and learn the League’s intensity and style of play.
In his pre-match conference, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino told the press that the Brazilian is currently in France sorting out some personal issues but he could be back before their trip to Anfield stadium.
“He was yesterday doing some tests with our sports science and medical staff and today he is in Paris doing private things.” he concluded
Tottenham are in confident mood after defeating Manchester United 2-0 in the week and the Argentine manager will hope his team maintain their concentration level when they go against Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Liverpool on the other hand, returned to winning ways after their unimpressive display against Westbrom in one of FA Cup fourth-round fixtures last week Saturday. They will hope to build on their solid performance against Huddersfield where they emerged victorious by a three goal-margin.
The winner of the contest will no doubt stand a chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
