Arsene Wenger has appeared to have confirmed the transfer of Aubameyang by accident.

There is a video on Twitter where Wenger confirms the striker has moved to North London appeared on their website yesterday.

Arsenal have been expected to land the former African player of the year on deadline day after he arrived Emirate training ground to undergo a medical ahead of his much anticipated transfer.

As you reckon, Borrusia Dortmund said the deal will only go through should they find a replacement for the stubborn striker and Chelsea star player Michy Batshuayi has long been identified as the best replacement for the player.

Arsenal French striker  £18m deal to Chelsea would pave the way for Belgian striker Michy to leave the club, but the deal is far from being done.

In the video clip, an interviewer asked Wenger:

“Aubameyang is an Arsenal player, you must be delighted to get the deal done?”.

He was later asked about the African player’s strength, Wenger said:

“His huge physical capacity to repeat runs, which will be important in the Premier League because the physical level is high.”

Asked if he was delighted to sign the player, Wenger said:

“Yes, it is a good news.

He later said Arsenal need more players with offensive power, and he is very convinced the player will bring that to Arsenal.
