According to new reports, Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria is ready to join Sunderland on loan before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.
If the move should see the light of the day before the window closes on Wednesday, then the 20-year-old will play with the Black Cats until the end of the term.
Sunderland are still struggling in the Championship, and manager Chris Coleman is keen on adding more quality to his squad by bringing in quality players this month.
Sunderland are still hovering around the relegation zone in the Championship, and Coleman hopes he can successfully finalise the deal for Ovie.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly open to allowing Ejaria leave Anfield on loan to enable him to get more playing time elsewhere.
The youngster has made 8 appearances for the first team in his young career at Anfield, but he is yet to play a single game for Liverpool this season so far.
The switch is expected to be finalised any moment from now, and Ovie is likely to start for Sunderland this weekend when they clash with Ipswich Town in the Championships.
The Championship side are also eyeing Ben Woodburn and intend bringing him over on loan also. However, manager Jurgen Klopp is not willing to allow Ben leave Anfield at the moment.
