The 20-year versatile defender has struggled for game time this season with only one appearance off the bench in the league to his name.
His proposed loan move away was however in doubt, despite a number of interested club, as manager Jose.
Mourinho stated the club’s desire to keep hold of the England U21 international as cover for the injured Eric Bailly.
But with the Ivory Coast international set to return in February his preferred move to the second tier of English football is now on the cards.
Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce, who is a huge admirer of the Man united academy graduate has been able to convince the youngster to join his side’s push for promotion to the Premier League as they currently occupy a play-off spot.
The move to Villa Park could prove to be very effective to the player’s development as England legend John Terry is already at the club and could learn a lot from the former Chelsea captain.
Axel Tuanzebe is highly rated at Old Trafford, particularly by boss Jose Mourinho he will be looking to have the defender back for pre-season in the summer.
