It was reported on Thursday night that Manchester United were hoping to seal the deal as regards the swap move involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez.
The Red Devils are hoping to get the Chilean in before their game away to Burnley on Saturday.
The chances of that happening have increased with the news that Arsenal have agreed to terms with the Armenian.
Mkhitaryan is believed to be the reason why the deal has not been announced as until till now he had failed to reach an agreement with the North London club.
However, according to these new reports, the 28-year attacking midfielder has agreed to terms with Arsenal and is set to be one of the highest paid players at the club.
In other great news for Arsenal fans worldwide, the club has also agreed to terms with Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has been targeted by boss Arsene Wenger to bolster his attack that has been heavily dependent on the United-bound Alexis Sanchez for the past seasons.
The deal is yet to be sorted out with the German side, however, but the player has stated his intentions to leave Signal Park and has the Gunners as his preferred destination.
Both Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang played together at Dortmund and had a very productive 2015/2016 season scoring a combined 62 goals in all competitions earning the Armenian a move to Man united.
