From all indications, Arsenal star player Alexis Sanchez will become a Manchester United player before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.
According to recent reports, the Chilean international will sign a four-and-a-half year contract with the Old Trafford club.
Arsenal wants Manchester United star player Henrikh Mkhitaryan to come over to North London to replace Sanchez, and it was made known that the Armenian is a crucial part of the deal.
But according to The Daily Telegraph, the former Barcelona man has now agreed to personal terms with the red devils.
The talented player will sign a four-and-a-half-year contract that will see him earn £14 million each season at Old Trafford – and he will become the highest paid player in the premier league.
Sanchez was heavily linked with Manchester City during the past summer transfer window and he was reportedly interested in reuniting with his former manager Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.
But Jose Mourinho’s side quickly offered a much better package to the 29-year-old and to his club – which Guardiola’s side were not willing to match.
It was also made known that apart from the high wages, Sanchez also agreed to join Manchester United due to his high chances of getting regular game time at Old Trafford.
