According to reports, Antoine Griezmann has rejected Manchester United’s £300,000-a-week deal and is demanding a £400,000-a-week contract to move to Old Trafford.
The France international was heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish capital during the past summer transfer window and was close to joining Manchester United. But he chose to remain with Diego Simeone at Madrid due to the club’s transfer ban as an act of loyalty.
Man United Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho is keen on bringing in the player this summer, and he has made a massive contract offer to the talented superstar.
However, it was reported that the Frenchman has turned down a £300,000-a-week offer and is now asking to earn £400,000 each week.
Griezmann has also been heavily linked with Barcelona in recent times, with reports from Spain suggesting the player’s next destination is Camp Nou.
However, the Sun made it known that the player won’t mind moving to Manchester if the red devils can offer him a £400,000-a-week deal.
Jose Mourinho is desperate to add more power to his team at Old Trafford. The Portuguese tactician believes he can win more trophies for Manchester United if the red devils can bring in more top players to his squad.
