It is no longer news that Chelsea has completed the signing of England international Ross Barkley from Everton for ₤15 million.
The Chelsea new boy has now given an update on his fitness level after his move to Stamford Bridge was announced stating that he is ‘feeling great’.
The 24-year old has failed to make a Premier League appearance due to a hamstring problem that required surgery and that has kept him out of action for over 6 months.
He has however revealed that he had returned to training 2 weeks ago and he is ready to fight for a first team shirt in Antonio Conte’s side.
“Yeah I’m feeling very great now”, heconfrimed to Chelsea TV. “I have had a difficult time, as you reckin, I was out for six months with a hamstring injury but now things are better I’ve been training for two weeks and feeling great. I am anxiously looking forward to kicking on and getting reandy to play as soon as possible.”
This will come as good news to fans of the club who will be anxiously waiting to see their new man in action as soon as possible.
The midfielder has since been unveiled to the fans of the club and will be wearing the No. 8 jersey famously worn by club legend Frank Lampard.
