Manchester United are considering a move for former Arsenal and Chelsea target Kieran Tierney in the January transfer window.

The 20-year old has been a major part of the Celtic setup since bursting into the scene in 2014 and has made over 100 appearances for the Scottish champions.

His future has been under much speculation in the past as he had been strongly linked with English teams Arsenal and Chelsea in the summer but now Manchester United are the latest team to show an interest in the youngster.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been known to be looking for reinforcements at left-back since he isn’t satisfied with the options at his disposal.

The club has been linked with January moves for Danny Rose as well as Alex Sandro of Juventus and Napoli’s Faouzi Ghoulam.

However, latest reports suggest that Scotland international, Tierney, is now a potential target ahead of a move later in the month.

The record Premier League winners are also said to have an interest in Fulham’s teenage prodigy Ryan Sessegnon.

The future of current Left-back Luke Shaw has been up in the air for a while now but a series of impressive displays has seen his stock rise in recent weeks, it is now left to be seen if the club will still look to add a new left-back in the coming weeks or shelve their plans for the time being.

Manchester United are currently second in the Premier League, 15 points behind leaders Manchester City.
