Former Man United midfielder Paul Scholes thinks Paul Pogba has all it takes to become the best midfielder if he can get his acts together and make things simpler for himself on the pitch.
The former Juventus midfielder became the most expensive player in the world when Man United paid the Serie A club a whopping £89 Million for his signature in 2016. However, Brazilian superstar Neymar took the spot when PSG ‘broke the bank’ to bring him to France from Barcelona this summer.
The 24-year-old has been impressive at Old Trafford since he returned back to Manchester United, and has quickly evolved into one of the most important members at the club.
And speaking recently about the Frenchman, Man United legend Paul Scholes believes the France international has all it takes to become the best midfielder in the world if he can stop complicating things for himself.
Scholes feels Pogba can realise his potential if he can stop overdoing things whenever he is playing on the pitch.
According to Scholes, Pogba sometimes tries too much to do certain things beyond his abilities, and he feels his high price-tag might be what prompts him to try going out of the way to impress the fans.
Pogba returned back to domestic duties against Bristol City on Wednesday night after completing his suspension.
