After managing to earn all three points from their last premier league game last weekend, Manchester United are ready to clash with Leicester City this weekend for their next top flight game.
And ahead of the Saturday game, it has been confirmed that the duo of Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind won’t be part of the party that will participate in the duel.
The Italian was ‘destroyed’ by the fans for his awful performance in Man United’s 2-1 defeat to Bristol City two days ago in the League Cup.
Daley was given another chance by manager Jose Mourinho on Wednesday against Bristol, but the Englishman also failed to impress everyone.
And it was made known that the duo won’t be part of the party travelling to Leicester on Friday for Man United’s next premier league game on Saturday.
The likes of Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini and Eric Bailly are still with injuries and won’t also travel with the rest of the guys on Friday evening.
However, manager Jose Mourinho chose to travel with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and the Armenian is likely to get a start on Saturday – or, at least, come in as a sub from the bench.
Mkhitaryan was introduced into the game against Bristol City in the second half, and it appears Mourinho is not giving up on the former Dortmund playmaker yet.
Manchester United are still eleven points behind Manchester City ahead of the weekend fixtures.
